Modem LED Behavior
Accessing the Modem GUI
Before accessing the modem GUI, the customer’s device must be connected to the modem either via Ethernet/LAN cable or WiFi.
The modem’s Graphic User Interface (GUI) can be accessed by typing 192.168.254.254 in the browser’s address bar. Input user for both the username and password to log in to the modem’s user interface.
1. Open a browser e.g. Google Chrome.
2. On the address bar, input 192.168.254.254 , then press ENTER.
3.You will be redirected to this page. Scroll down and at the end of the page, click “Setup”.
4. Log in using this credentials.
5. Go to Status section.
Status → Device Info
Device Information – shows the device firmware version, system Uptime, and MAC address.
Local Area Network (LAN) Details – shows the log-in IP address information.
PPP/PPPoE Set-up – this is where the customer must input the correct DSL username and password to get a PPPoE connection.
Note: PPPoE stands for Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet. This is a type of secured internet connection.
Note: If the Username is set in firstname.lastname@example.org , you must re-type or change it to your username provided in your account together with your corresponding password (default is account number).
Click Apply. Then, log out.
Reboot the modem and check the connection
